Athletes want to play well, to be healthy, and to connect with a deeper purpose beyond your sport. And, when it comes to game time, it is up to the athlete to face pressure to play with presence and resilience to win.
We start with this question: Do you know how your body feels and communicates under pressure? In other words, can you listen and respond to your mind & body in real-time?
That is the practice of somatics.
Somatic coaching teaches you how to listen to those real-time signals, giving you tools to self-coach mid-game instead of waiting for coaches, trainers, or therapists to give separated solutions after the fact.
It is a practicable approach that works with what the athlete know best - your body!

Just like in physical training, everything comes down to practice.
In this case, we are training how to:
Recognize how your body communicates pressure, fear, and resistance
What emotions you feel before, during, and after competition
How your body feels when you’re playing your best
Knowing what you care about in your sport and larger purpose in life
Responding to pressure in real-time by knowing your body’s signals
Choosing how you actually want to play in each present moment
Practice looks like pattern recognition, movement repetition, and play simulation:
Recognition: Practice tracking emotions and physicality (how you’re holding your body) on and off the field
Repetition: Practice adjusting mood, emotion, and physicality in real-time, with emphasis on facing pressure and building you’re own resiliency
Simulation: Practice through gameplay building your capacity to track and adjust in real-time to increase your performance and purpose

We offer one on one coaching, team clinics, and sport-based camps for athletes of all levels and ages. Somatics works best as a mix of one on one coaching to build self-awareness and group coaching to build team or sport awareness.
Here’s of summary offerings:
Teams: 1 - 3 team clinics focused on building awareness, resilience, and performance, including gameplay simulation and individual coaching
Athletes: Monthly package of 4 coaching sessions, 1 practice or game observation or gameplay simulation with the option of somatic bodywork
Coaches: Monthly package of 4 coaching sessions, 1 practice or game observation or gameplay simulation with the option of somatic bodywork
Camps: 3 - 6 hour clinics focused on building awareness, resilience and performance for athletic communities
